The Grand Canyon

The Grand Canyon has been one of those places that I've always wanted to visit. I recently got to go, with Mum when she was over, and we had a great few days there.

It's hard to appreciate just how massive it is when you're there staring into it, and photos don't do it any justice either. It is a very massive hole in the ground.

We also go to see one of the condors that calls that part of the US home - which was very cool to see too.

Nanna In a New Ocean

I know Nanna's ashes have been spread in more than one ocean already, but on Mum's recent visit, a few of her ashes were spread into the Pacific.

The location is where the sunset photo was taken on the day she died - seemed the most appropriate place to spread 'em.
