The Brace is Gone!
Well, sort of.
After a Doctor visit on Monday, I no longer have to wear the big wrist brace 24x7. I still have it for when I'm doing things where I might trip or otherwise endanger the arm as it'll be another 6 weeks before the bone is at maximum strength.
My idea of going snowboarding in a couple of week's time was met with a frosty reception, but wasn't totally vetoed (but came about as close as you can without totally vetoing it) - so I'm still on the fence. It's not the boarding that's the problem, it's the high potential of falling that's the problem!
My wrist movement wasn't as good as it needs to be to avoid physical therapy, so I start physical therapy tomorrow - reports will appear here in the near future.
Everything else is coming along well according to the x-rays etc. - next doctor trip is early in the new year, when hopefully the physical therapy will have given me the mobility back in my wrist.
