Elephant Seals
Taking advantage of Cellfire giving us the "optional" public holiday of Martin Luther King day, and the awesome, summer like weather, I headed down to check out the elephant seals just north of San Simeon.
95 miles south of Monterey, along the almost always twisting and dipping Pacific Coast Highway, the ride alone is worth a day out. The elephant seals at the turnaround point are just a bonus.
