Rain Arrives Early, Carpets Are Vacuumed

I got a good, though chilly in places, ride in on the Ducati this morning, despite the skies looking more ominous than they were supposed to.

The temps and skies meant that the roads were fairly empty, just adding to my enjoyment factor.

I did see three condors at 7 pines, but they were up high and soon headed south, so the ride focused mainly on the empty roads.

With hindsight, the brief condor encounter was fortuitous as when I arrived back in Monterey, it was spitting with rain. The spitting continued after I got home, so the bike was soon in its garage.

Then around 3pm (14 hours before it was forecast), the proper rain arrived - so the vacuum cleaner came out and all carpets in the house were thoroughly vacuumed. Still need to dust, but let's not get over excited here.

It's becoming obvious that there's a correlation between rainfall and house cleanliness - with an El Nino year forecast, the house could end up cleaner than ever before.
